We are currently seeking applications from Verification and Validation Engineers to join our dynamic Verification and Validation Team for a 12 months’ contract.
The V&V Department is responsible for System Verification and Validation across all business units. It is also responsible for designing and automating (where possible) effective test methodologies. 

The Engineer role will work predominantly within a cross-functional project team to determine the scope, develop the strategy, plan, perform and document system level verification and validation activities for ResMed products, in accordance with Regulatory and Quality System Requirements. 
 
Reporting directly to the V&V Manager, the role’s primary objective is to plan, document and perform system level design verification and validation activities for ResMed products, in accordance with System Requirements.

As the Verification and Validation Engineer, you will take on the following core responsibilities:

  • To work with Product Development teams in the early phases of development planning and performing Exploratory testing
  • To achieve project deliverables and milestones in a timely manner
  • To contribute to team growth by providing technical guidance/support to student/graduate engineers, if you are an experience Engineer, and collaborate with others to resolve issues effectively, if you are a Graduate Engineer
  • To communicate effectively with peers, stakeholders and supervisors routinely

As a successful member of the team you will ensure that you not only maintain technical skills and awareness of technical improvements but deliver on results and work as a pro-active cross functional team member. 

You are a detailed person, highly organised and has a strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, preferably Mechatronics or Mechanical major
  • Some experience in Product Development / R&D within a Quality Assured environment
