In this position you will join our rail infrastructure team supporting the advisory & design delivery of large-scale major projects across Victoria where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'Bring Ideas to Life' for our clients. With focus across a range of major to mid-sizedRailprojects, we are actively recruiting for thosewho arepassionate about working collaboratively andstrengtheningtheirtechnicalexpertise.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.
- Undertake optioneering and design of track alignment, formation, earthworks, drainage etc. for heavy and/or light rail
- Produce reports and engineering drawings in conjunction with drafting resources
- Be actively involved in Safety in Design, risk assessments
- Identify and assist the resolution of design standard or operational requirements non-conformances

- Lead design teams
- Provide technical advice to project team members, clients and other parties
- Prepare scopes of work, design reports and engineering specifications
- Review and verify design undertaken by others
- Be involved in team and business development
You will have a proven background working on rail projects with a development and/or delivery focus. You will also demonstrate extensive working knowledge of Bentley Rail Track & MicroStation and an understanding of MTM, V/Line, ARTC requirements will be highly regarded.
