Devex Systems’ head office is based in Mona Vale, in the Northern Beaches, Sydney, with offices also in Melbourne and Hobart. Devex Systems specialises in radiant heating solutions, where we:

  • Manufacture our own electric heating cables;
  • Distribute heating products all around Australia;
  • Install underfloor heating in the Sydney region.

As the Technical Manager, you will lead and manage all the technical aspect of the business. Once you are settled in and start to achieve your goals, we would expect you to be invited to join our Business Management Team, where you will participate in strategic decisions of the business.


  • Expand your technical knowledge (Electrical, production/mechanical, hydraulic and software engineering) and non-technical knowledge (HR, finance, marketing, strategy, sales etc.)
  • Design new products and processes, from start to completion
  • Join the business executive team and hold an important role in the business

In this role, you’ll make an impact by:

  • Looking for innovative and new solutions for our customers. One of our competitive advantages is that we continuously look for innovative and new solutions for our customers. You will be expected to contribute ideas for these innovations and new products and you will be expected to drive some of our projects forward to make them a reality.
  • Understanding current processes and developing and executing new processes (both in the production line and with our computer systems)
  • Going out of your comfort zone. As a small company, you will be expected to venture into projects outside your comfort zone.
  • Being customer focused. You will get directly involved in the sales process where necessary and you will be expected to provide the customer or sales team with the necessary support and advice in a timely manner. You will be expected to receive regular positive feedback from the Devex team and from our customers.

  • Have a technical background
  • Hold a drivers license
