Systems Engineering Manager

We have an Expression of Interest for a Systems Engineering Manager to join Downer Defence in the space of IT/Communications sector working specifically project based.  In this role you will be establish and manage the systems engineering program and lead the Downer team (and subcontracting entities across all engineering activities, this include identifying needs analysis, detailed design, verification and validation, configuration and management through to ensuring compliance to policy.

You will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Systems, Software or Communications) with post graduate qualifications preferred.
• A proven track record of delivery of Defence projects under the C4ISR development program and C3 technologies
• Hands on experience working with ASDEFCON suit of contracts and the TRAMM-L regulatory framework
• Sound and proven management skills, including detailed project management methodology, people management and team leadership qualities and ability to lead and develop stakeholder management strategies.
• Excellent communication ability, internal and external both written and verbal to articulate complex processes and topics to all levels of the business
• NV1 Clearance or have baseline security clearance and be an Australian citizen.
