About The Role

- You bring skills and experience in systems engineering within a complex software based systems development and integration programs domain with experience in the derivation for CDRLs associated with MIL-STD-498.
- Ideally you understand the Navy combat systems and training environments
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Engineer. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for System Specification and Design of components of our Combat Systems Simulation. In short, defining the requirements and design for high fidelity simulations of devices associated with the Naval fleet in a manner compliant with MIL-STD-498 .
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in Engineering or an Information Technology related discipline, combined with extensive demonstrated experience working on the development of systems for mission critical applications, particularly training and simulation systems. You will also possess an detailed understanding of System Engineering and Software Development principles and processes
It would be highly advantageous if you have experience in the development and delivery of systems and associated documentation in accordance with the Australian Defence Contracting Standard (ASDEFCON).
In order to be eligible for this position, candidate MUST have an active Australian Defence security clearance or be eligible to obtain one at a minimum of NV1 level. Therefore, candidates WILL NEED TO BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS.Working for us
