An opportunity now exists for an Aerospace/Systems Engineer that will see you undertaking a range of system engineering tasks, including test and evaluation activities in the aerospace domain.
As an Aerospace/Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Contribution to the Certification Program Plan
  • Initial Airworthiness support to the Airworthiness program schedule
  • Airworthiness contribution to Materiel System Safety (i.e. develop draft Aviation Safety Acquisition Management Plan (ASAMP))
  • Contribution to risk reviews, including identification of mitigation strategies to overcome negative risks
  • Liaison and interaction between project stakeholders

To be successful in the role of Aerospace/Systems Engineer, you will need to bring with you:
  • Sufficient tertiary qualifications and professional development
  • Experience in a Defence Aerospace project
  • Experience in the development and review of system engineering artefacts to support all phases of the system lifecycle, including system safety
  • Test and Evaluation experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of DASA requirements
  • A reliable, resourceful and team-oriented approach to work
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance
