Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Section Lead Track and Delivery - the Senior Track Engineer supports the Jacobs ANZ rail team in the delivery of technical solutions/artefacts across its rail clients. You will provide technical leadership and role modelling of Jacobs' core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse cultural ethos that embodies Jacobs' Culture of Caring and prioritises the health and wellbeing of your people.
You will work closely with Principle Engineers to set clear technical direction and provide a strong role model regarding client focus and responsiveness and your strong client relationships will help to ensure we can identify and anticipate client needs. You will support the Rail business to be engaged, resilient and adaptable, and inspire them to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding project delivery, responsible and proactive technical management. You will support team through delivery of projects across the various phases of its lifecycle (concept/tender design, preliminary, detailed design and AFC). You will ensure delivery complies with Safety Assurance and Systems Engineering principles.
You will support projects within the ANZ region and focussed on technical delivery using Jacobs staff and contractors alike. Transport modes include passenger rail, light rail and Freight/heavy haul.Key requirements for the role:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Design skills using software applications such as Bentley Rail Track and Openrail
- You should be an experienced Track Designer/Engineer with experience in the Victorian metropolitan rail network preferred including local MTM accreditations
