The Opportunity:
Due to increasing demand for our Structural Integrity services, our Adelaide office requires the addition of numerous Structural Integrity Engineer's. These are to be fixed-term contract position's, with the opportunity for the right candidate to be offered a permanent role.
This role is focused on conducting conditional assessments of existing structures (primarily concrete and steel) with adequate recommendations including temporary controls is needed.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conduct structural integrity inspection for existing mining infrastructure including concrete and steel works.
  • Prepare quality conditional assessment reports.
  • Structural engineering analysis and design when required.
  • Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
  • Develop ability to apply safety in design to all projects.
  • Prepare technical reports on small to medium projects.

Preferred experience and skills:
  • Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Typically, 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia with the ability to obtain a federal police clearance per client's requirements.
  • Ability to travel to site where needed (potential interstate).
  • Fundamental structural knowledge and understanding of structural behaviours and failure mechanism.
  • Strong technical writing skill prepare structural inspection reports in comply with Client's specification.
  • Self-motivation with strong time management skill and have capability to work on multiple tasks.
