SIMEC Mining, a member of GFG Alliance, has operations in SA and NSW. Our iron ore mining operations in South Australia’s Middleback Ranges, south of Whyalla, consist of three primary mine sites: Iron Baron, Iron Knob and the South Middleback Ranges. Iron Ore administration functions, pellet processing and shipping facilities are located within the city limits of Whyalla.

About the role
Reporting to the Analysis & Improvement Superintendent, your principle responsibility will be to manage the condition of plant assets by developing analytical methods to determine reliability of components, equipment and processes. You will be a significant contributor to the development, implementation and sustainability of the required improvement plans to address low plant availability and unplanned breakdowns.
