The Project
NEWest Alliance is a multidisciplinary collaboration between CPB Contractors and Downer, working with the Public Transport Authority to deliver two projects (Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link) as part of METRONET.
Across two projects (Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link), the Alliance will add 32 kilometres of track to Perth's rail network, 5 new stations and 3 station modifications as well as 14 kilometres of principal shared path.

Your Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a risk assessment background to join our very successful team. This is a great opportunity to secure metro-based work here in Perth.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
  • APRA experience
  • Experience in managing early works
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Senior Project Engineer role
  • Ability to assist the Project Management team in preparation of documents and reports
  • Excellent ability in developing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Experience in developing and monitoring KPI's and productivity analysis against program and budgets
  • High level understanding of programme management, deadlines and budget controls
  • A collaborative and diligent attitude to project delivery and commitment to promoting a friendly team environment
