About the Project Overseen by managing contractor Laing O'Rourke, the Osborne North Development Project will see the construction, refurbishment and modernisation of purpose-built facilities specifically designed to enable the most effective build of Australia's Future Submarine fleet. The design and construction activities for the new Future Submarine Construction Yard will be incredibly important and complex. The project will transform the naval shipbuilding and ship sustainment industry here in Australia.
About the role We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join us on the Osborne North Development project in Adelaide, SA. This permanent role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities You will provide support to the Project Leader being directly responsible in the delivery aspects of their package of work to ensure the project is delivered within budget, time, quality, and sustainability objectives safely. You are also responsible for the direction, performance, and mentoring of a team of direct-report engineers; site engineers and project engineers.
About you You will have experience in delivering complex civil packages and leading teams. You will offer a relevant degree in Civil Engineering, a contracting background and leadership skills. Experience with managing contractor models and/or delivering Defence projects would be beneficial.
