We are currently seeking Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team of high achievers in Brisbane.  As part of the team, you will lead by example and provide technical support, supervision and advice to the discipline team and project teams 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Prepare engineering designs, equipment specifications, data sheets, lists and calculations; specifically, for hazardous area classification and design, control and safety systems
  • Advising on design integrity issues relating to discipline engineering.
  • Facilitating and developing a productive and cohesive team
  • Supervise the work of drafting/design staff to ensure compliance with technical standards.
  • Participating in peer reviews; and consult with relevant resources as required.
  • Participating in design review, constructability and safety review workshops (HAZID/HAZOP).

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: 

  • Strong hydrocarbons experience. Gas processing plant design preferential. 
  • Experience across various phases of project execution specifically FEED and Detail Design.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of instrumentation detailed design, and the basic requirements of other disciplines.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland 
  • A sound working knowledge of applicable local standards and statutory and regulatory requirements. 
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable.
