Just imagine your future with us
At Aurecon we see the future through a very different lens.
We are focused on providing our innovation, eminence and a digital ingenuity to face challenging projects.
Are you excited by the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging, unique and complex projects around the world and to learn from the best?
We work together to create a culture based on respect, trust and inclusiveness. Our differences are what fuel our creativity. Diversity is at the core of everything we do.
We embrace flexible working and are always open to discussing your individual needs so that you get to create your own experience with us.What will you do?
As a Senior Environmental Scientist/Engineer, you will be critical to our Contaminated Land practice where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients.
Reporting to South Australian and Victorian Team Lead, you will be adept at either:
- managing and overseeing large scale work programs across Victoria, including field work activities, ground investigations or contaminated land drilling programs; and/or
- reporting and providing advice on major infrastructure projects.
A key focus will be on the efficient implementation of diverse programs and advice, quite often in the public realm and in safety critical environments (such as railway easements). A key part of your role will be liaising with contractors and sub-contractors and the broader in-house technical specialists, who will rely on the data and advice you and your team collects and presents.
We know today's complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets. What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.
We are looking for experienced and qualified practitioners with established reputations for excellence in its broadest sense. You'll have;
A tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering, geology or equivalent.
- Approximately 5-15 years' experience in a relevant industry
- The ability to plan and manage site works including subcontractors and health and safety protocols.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to engage with the project's stakeholders
- Can articulate the findings of environmental investigations verbally and generate reports which meet industry standards.
- Importantly, the ability to work in large / diverse multi-disciplinary teams - as our works often involve working with other environmental disciplines, designers / engineers and project managers.
At Aurecon's foundation we celebrate the key attributes of our team and team members. We will work with your unique strengths to bring our team as a whole.
We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. Does that sound like you?About us
