As an integral member of the Intelligent Transport Systems & Electrical & Special Infrastructure team, you will be contributing to the construction and maintenance of "smart" devices used on the State controlled road network.  Specifically, you will be involved in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of these systems as well as the development of the application of new technologies and standards. 

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles relevant to electrical infrastructure such as Intelligent Transport Systems, traffic signals, road lighting and electrical applications.
  • Experience managing electrical infrastructure projects and liaising with external contractors 
  • The ability to rigorously research and analyse information in order to provide a recommended course of action
  • Proven experience successfully managing networks and stakeholders including the management of expectations and issues of all parties
  • Effective communication skills to prepare reports and present information and liaise with non-technical stakeholders
