The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil-Drainage professional to join our Road-drainage Team in Melbourne. You will apply your technical Skills in this role, as well as the leadership to help and support the junior engineers. This will be a start of exploring more growth with a world class company and various types and scales of projects within but not limited to Victoria and South Australia.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':
  • Lead the delivery of drainage design on major transport infrastructure projects across Victoria.
  • Play a key role in team growth with provision of technical skills and teamwork culture
  • Optimise our design workflows to drive a coordinated efficient digital delivery approach
  • Collaborate across disciplines to provide our clients with the best possible engineering solutions
  • Liaise with clients and public authorities to address technical queries and manage to develop an optimum engineering solution.
  • Provide mentoring and training to the team across Victoria and South Australia

What we are looking for:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering with extensive experience in industry delivering infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrate a strong 12d skill as well as having a deep hydrology and hydraulic technical knowledge
  • Technical excellence in delivery, to bring the best of Aurecon's eminence to clients
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in WSRD/WSUD and ability to provide solutions to manage the stormwater quality and quantity
  • Experience in supervising junior members of the team with the ability to mentor them during the design development and construction support
  • A role model through their behaviours and decision making, which are aligned to a diverse and inclusive workspace
  • Chartered member of Engineers Australia or eligible to apply for chartership
