An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our positive and dedicated Technical Specialists team.

About the role
The City of Parramatta is seeking to appoint a highly capable Senior Development Engineer professional who is interested in working within a motivated and dedicated Technical Specialist team within the Development and Assessment Service environment.

About the person
The successful candidate should have a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and at least 5 years’ experience as an Engineer in an organisation with similar diversity of commercial, industrial, residential and community development, as Parramatta City Council.
You will also have strong capabilities and experience in the management of large and complex development applications within urbanized and CBD environments, and the ability to operate effectively in a political environment.

What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive salary from $96,071 p.a. plus Super. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.

Participation in Council’s Motor Vehicle Scheme will be discussed with the successful applicant.
