What are we looking for?
Arcadis are excited to form part of a joint venture working on WA’s largest infrastructure projects within the Perth Metro area and we are growing our teams rapidly! We are now seeking a Senior Utilities Engineer to manage the complex challenges of a brownfield alignment site for Perth’s latest high-profile rail project. Your role will include:

Managing selected designs and teams for projects or design elements to meet budget, time- frame and quality targets, while exceeding client expectations; 
Negotiating with statutory authorities and working with other external stakeholders to achieve best outcomes; 
Working in collaboration with other design teams and disciplines to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design of infrastructure and other land development projects;
Identification of protection works; and
Meeting project deadlines and ensuring that commitments and expectations are met.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and embrace challenges of working to build and extend complex major infrastructure. You are a tertiary qualified engineer with extensive experience in civil utility projects and come to us with:

  • Expertise in ensuring high-quality delivery of utilities concepts and designs whilst working closely with civil design and urban development teams;
  • Previous experience in navigating the complex challenges of brownfields civil infrastructure projects;
  • Confidence in negotiating, liaising and communicating with external agencies and stakeholders;
  • Familiar with, or experience in reviewing designs in 12d/12d drainage, MX, OpenRoads software would be beneficial; and
  • Previous experience with WA design standards will be highly regarded.
