Due to recent project successes and a strong project pipeline within our Tasmanian Transport team, we currently have interest in recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer- Design Manager to join our Roads & Highways team based in Hobart.
Working with a dedicated team, you will gain exposure to a wide range of projects and work with a highly experienced and dedicated team on some of Tasmania's most sought-after transport projects. You will lead multidiciplinary transport infrastucture projects and be responsible for the leadership of technical delivery, as well as the planning and management of the overall delivery of projects. About you
The successful candidate is expected to hold tertiary qualifications in engineering in addition to experience in multi-disciplinary Roads projects providing package and coordination leadership . You should also be experienced in:

• Understanding project technical elements
• Knowledge of technical standards for roads and highways design & construction documentation
• Local environment, relavent industry knowledge particularly State departments and local contractors
• Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, both internal and external. Thorough understanding of client needs and effective communication
• Contributing to securing new or repeat business through successful performance and delivery of projects
