This is a varied role where you actively liaise with SME’s of all disciplines across the Hunter Class Frigate project advising on the use of Strategic and Tactical risk tools. You assist with risk management process and procedures and partake in and contribute to risk reviews.
In your day to day work you have a high level of face to face stakeholder engagement in setting up risk reviews and meeting with risk owners and then ensuring veracity of risk data.
No two days are the same so you do need to be responsive, organised and flexible. You will have accurate keyboard skills for monthly and quarterly risk reporting as well as analysis of risk trends and identifying trends and anomalies.

You will be joining the Canberra located governance team, a small group of specialists involved with communications, assisting with audits and schedule as well as risk and opportunity.

As this is a multiskilled team experience gained in other project or governance disciplines such as schedule or, cost estimation would be relevant and of interest.

You may have risk experience however you will need to have gained previous experience in a project, engineering or similar technically related environment, in private industry or government. Prepared to deal with practical issues and technical challenges.
A degree or similar level qualification in an engineering or project related area is highly desirable.
