About the role
We are looking for an experienced Rail Asset Health – Wayside/Locomotive Evaluator to join our 24/7 Asset Health team based at the OC. This role supports our sites with the remote monitoring and diagnosis of faults to improve equipment reliability.
This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual. Reporting to the Asset Health Supervisor, you will be:

  • Monitoring wayside equipment for health trends and faults
  • Liaising with site personnel and train control, providing timely escalation and response

About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Signal fault logging and data entry experience
  • Previous Rail or signal experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new software applications
  • An analytical mind with strong problem solving skills, sound communication and computer skills
  • Trade background in either Mechanical / Electrical or Asset Management fields
  • Significant demonstrated experience in the Rail Industry
  • A strong safety focused mindset
  • Experience using the following HOSDI (ideal), WAM, SAP and TCS Software
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise work load
