We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Project Manager
position to support an existing Defence Project Management / Contract Administrator (PM/CA) role to be based in Adelaide, SA.
We're looking for a mature and collaborative candidate who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running optimally; on time, inside budget and meeting client organisation expectations. You'll support the lead PM/CA on medium to large capital works infrastructure projects for the Department of Defence and may also support works in other sectors to meet current workload in the future.
From achieving project objectives and KPIs to managing and coordinating key project elements (engineering, design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, quality, health and safety, finance, administration and cost), scheduling project activities and developing personnel - your accountable work ethic and productivity will positively impact the success of Australian Defence projects.

Starting immediately this Project Manager role is to support an existing Defence PM/CA role on a Defence Airforce infrastructure project and Electronic Warfare Aircraft Facilities Project with specific responsibilities for the administration of two Head Contracts delivering project works located interstate. You'll perform other duties as required to support delivery of this and other projects.
Frequent (fortnightly) interstate travel is a mandatory requirement to perform all duties.

- Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship in order to achieve the security clearance required for this role
- Qualifications in construction/project management or engineering are desirable
- At least two years' project management experience in the buildings and infrastructure design and construction industry is essential, ideally in a Government setting
- Good interpersonal skills, work with accountability and independence, an ability to build strong client relationships and work collaboratively with others
