The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our experienced and dedicated Storage Equipment team in Sydney. As a Project Engineer, you will responsible for providing technical design, drawing and estimating support to our Sales team, as well as providing engineering and project management services for orders and contracts. The key responsibilities are:
  • Provision of design and estimating support to the Sales team as required
  • Operating and maintaining costing/estimating software
  • Finalise layout drawings and issue works orders to manufacturing
  • Preparing requisitions for sub-contractors
  • Maintain liaison with relevant parties i.e. customer, sub-contractors, builder & Dematic staff to co-ordinate supply and installation
  • Maintain progress reporting monthly
  • Ensure compliance to Dematic safe work procedures and regular QA inspection and feedback of works
  • Maintain cash flow management throughout project duration.

What We Are Looking For
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:
  • Qualification in Engineering (e.g. Bachelor Degree, TAFE Certificate or similar)
  • Understanding of financial outcomes in a project environment and ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Effective communication including the ability to liaise with all levels of customers, staff and management
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular Excel
  • Customer service experience
