Apply your talent where it counts as a Product Security Engineer in our team in Edinburgh Parks, SA

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager on a variety of projects in the Electronic Warfare domain you will:

  • Work within the engineering design and/or sustainment teams to implement a systems oriented, integrated approach for building security into our products
  • Lead the development of security documentation and assist clients in identifying security regulatory requirements and activities, particularly regarding Australia's Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF)
  • Lead the development of the more comprehensive security requirements and work closely with Product Architects, Subject Matter Experts, Engineers to develop appropriate security solutions
  • Conduct system security vulnerability and risk assessments of the product
  • Support certification and accreditation of systems
  • As required, form part of the project engineering team to integrate and test the final solution to ensure the delivered solution meets or exceeds the customer's expectations

About you

As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Strong experience working in systems engineering life cycle
  • Knowledge of security standards and accreditation frameworks (eg. PSPF, DSPF, ISM, NIST)
  • Knowledge of industry products, tools and technologies for incorporation into technical solutions to achieve security outcomes
  • Experience in security certification and accreditation
  • Tertiary qualifications and experience satisfying the requirements for membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia
  • Knowledge of cyber-physical and embedded systems an advantage
