Duties/Abilities

A permanent opportunity in the Asset Management team is now available for an asset management professional. In this role you will manage the operational aspects of the delivery of individual projects from local road infrastructure programs and provide specialist technical expertise to project activities through effective leadership to project managers on design, construction, maintenance projects and operation of road networks. 

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:

  • Extensive experience within an asset management role within a road infrastructure environment or a similar complex environment
  • Ability to provide professional engineering advice and innovative solutions on technical issues related to asset management 
  • Extensive experience in preparing, implementing and continually reviewing strategic plans to ensure effective performance of assets
  • Ability to successfully manage networks and alliances of stakeholders and manage the expectations and issues of all parties.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
