  • Temporary full time until 31/12/2023 with possible extension
  • Salary in the range of $120,428 to $127,373 per annum excluding superannuation.
  • Salary up to $145,320 per annum (including Super)
  • Flexible working arrangement and attractive Superannuation contributions

In the role of Principal Engineer (Civil) you will manage the delivery of key components of the road infrastructure program and provide specialist technical expertise and advice to infrastructure projects and to other professional and technical staff to ensure successful delivery of the program within time, quality, cost and stakeholder expectations.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:

  • Demonstrated experience in applying high and complex understanding of program/project management principals and methodology.
  • Extensive technical expertise to provide support and advice in the planning and design competency elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership to project managers and engineers in the delivery of infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in providing reports on the progress of works including actual and forecast of expenditure.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
