In the role of Principal Engineer (Civil) you will project manage the pre-construction phase of multiple road infrastructure projects through the provision of extensive technical expertise and the administration of contracts and support to the design, construction and maintenance processes.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:

  • Ability to manage the development of project plans and design budget in the project development phase and monitor the provision of design services against the budget.
  • Undertake tendering and estimating activities to support the effective development and delivery of road infrastructure projects. 
  • Ability to successfully manage networks and alliances of stakeholders and manage the expectations and issues of all parties.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
