Role description:
Due to a growing pipeline of work heavily involved in our core business of civil highways engineering, we are looking for a Pavement Engineer - Senior to Associate Director level to join our team in an initial contract capacity. This person can be Sydney based or interstate.

Role accountabilities:

  • Working in collaboration with other design teams and disciplines on infrastructure projects to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design;
  • Assisting in the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, time-frame and quality targets, meeting or exceeding client expectations;
  • Providing technical advice to project team members whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Assisting the Principals and Team Leads in mentoring and supporting junior staff; and
  • Assist in the development of BIM and Digital Engineering innovations in the infrastructure industry.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven design experience with highways and transportation projects - Transport for NSW road project experience is highly advantageous;
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and be working towards achieving CPEng status;
  • Sound knowledge and experience working with local design standards including Austroads Guide to Road Design, RMS/TfNSW Supplements to AGRD and application of NSW standards;
  • Familiar with AutoCAD with use of road design software (12D OpenRoads, etc.) considered advantageous;
  • Experience of working in multi discipline design and/or project teams; and
  • Demonstrated experience of working independently and the ability to work in a complex challenging environment.
