The opportunity

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, this position exists to provide exceptional service delivery across City West Water’s distribution and reticulated network services, ensuring our customers receive drinking water, recycled water and sewerage services that are safe, reliable and affordable.

The role leads the Network Services Team to deliver on our non-negotiables of service delivery (safety, compliance with regulated standards for quality and environmental protection) while also positioning CWW to leverage data and analytics in our operating environment to improve services to customers.

The role recognises the opportunity to provide exceptional services for our customers at all times and reflects and anticipates customer needs in the operation of our network. The role ensures CWW is adopting and leveraging advances in technology to enhance the overall safety, security and reliability and cost of operations to deliver value for customers. 

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Relevant degree, trade qualification or Water Operations experience 
  • Experience in leading and managing a diverse team
  • Knowledge and experience in the delivery of services in water or other utility network industry
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in Incident and Emergency Response Management including Business Continuity Plan implementation 
  • Experience in driving a step change in safety culture and performance
  • Demonstrated experience in Regulatory compliance-Product Quality and Environment and Performance Reporting.
