The Mining Engineer role is a pivotal position within the Mine Scheduling team, which defines the what, how & when of the sites execution requirements in areas of drill & blast, overburden removal (truck shovel & draglines), and coal mining. The successful applicant will get exposure across all design and scheduling disciplines through appropriately timed development rotations. This is a great opportunity to hone your mine planning and leadership skills as well as further develop a deep understanding of the key value drivers of a large complex open cut mining operation. You will gain exposure to a variety of stripping operations and mine geology whilst seeing the results of your work being implemented.
