About The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and team focussed Mining Engineer to join Iluka's Technical Services Team, based at Jacinth Ambrosia Site.
Reporting directly to the Senior Mining Engineer the main responsibilities of this role include:

• Design and implementation of ore blocks, stockpiles, surface water management and rehabilitation
• Creation and delivery of short term plans, and communication of these plans through site instructions
• Continual compliance monitoring of the mining and haulage contractors
• Business improvement projects focused on increased productivity and reduced cost
• Assist in the development of long term budgets and forecasts

About You

It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Previous experience in operations and mine planning
• Experience in mineral sands operations
• Experience with mine planning software Surpac and Minesched

This position is based on site at the JA mine site with full modern camp facilities provided, fly in fly out of Adelaide or Ceduna on an 8:6 roster.
