We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Piping Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience to join our operations in Brisbane.  This role is part of a team delivering engineering services across a portfolio of oil and gas projects.  This is s a fantastic opportunity to further your knowledge of the hydrocarbons industry.  We are looking for someone who is looking to learn and be mentored by a team of experienced Engineers 

Key duties/responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Prepare engineering designs, equipment specifications, data sheets, lists and calculations
  • Participate in constructability and safety workshops (HAZID/HAZOP)
  • Prepare requisitions for procurement and assess vendor bids
  • Review vendor documentation (drawings, data sheets)
  • Prepare construction scopes of work
  • Input to commissioning plans and procedures
  • Cooperate with other engineering disciplines and our drafting team to deliver projects

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Piping experience.
  • Hydrocarbons experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable
  • Site or Brownfields project experience will be highly regarded
