The Opportunity

Due to current business opportunities, we are looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Newcastle office.    

What you’ll do:

  • Provide high quality technical support to successfully undertake projects within the mechanical discipline
  • Working in an established team of mechanical engineers within a multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver a diverse range of mine process and non-process infrastructure projects
  • Mechanical engineering design for mining clients
  • Assisting with scope and budget development in response to clients’ needs
  • Provide technical experience and expertise in pumps and pipes design. 

What we’ll love about you:

  • A mechanical engineering degree from a recognised institution with local experience in pumps and pipe design
  • Experience in coal or minerals processing would be highly desirable but not essential
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and verbal communications abilities.
