About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our Adelaide Mechanical team. The role is suitable for a qualified candidate who has experience designing commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) building projects. You will be able to work independently to deadlines, with an ability to work on several projects at different stages of completion.

We are currently working on a wide range of healthcare, commercial office and retail, residential, industrial and institutional buildings.
Day to day tasks would involve:
• Independently manage HVAC design projects in accordance with code and company quality standards
• Develop HVAC Engineering, heat load calculations, equipment and reticulation sizing and selection, coordination, and documentation
• Assist Project Engineers in successfully completing projects, with focus on program, documentation, profitability, technical aspects, risk management and overall Client satisfaction
• Build and develop your professional profile both internally and externally by consistently demonstrating an ability to successfully deliver projects.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
• Mechanical Engineer Degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in similar HVAC building services design role
• It would be advantageous to have healthcare experience, however not compulsory
• Specific industry software experience such as CAMEL, Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes
• Working experience using Revit and other software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
