We are seeking an Instrument and Electrical Engineer to ensure that the maintenance & minor projects activities are technically supported - providing scheduling, quality assurance, maintenance management support and business improvements. This position will see you based at the Mobil Altona refinery, in an fixed term, full-time position.

As the successful applicant, some of your core responsibilities will include;

  • Providing technical analysis and continuous improvement support to the Contract and our Clients business
  • Supporting Maintenance and Minor Projects workgroups to provide safe, quality, scheduled, cost effective outcome for the Client
  • Assisting in the preparation of procedures and work instructions, packages and schedules.
  • Assist in providing equipment & system evaluations and recommend design or work-method modifications
  • Actively contribute to the achievement & improvement of quality outcomes in engineering, project management and fieldwork.
  • Assist the Maintenance & Minor Projects Engineer in analysis of the Weekly and Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s),

Ideally your experience and talent will include;

  • Experience in a similar I&E Engineering role
  • Professional Engineering qualification
  • Use of a PC and work processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Demonstrated management and organisational skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
