Reporting to the Urban Development Manager, the position provides exceptional services to the land development industry across City West Water’s operating area. The role leads a team who ensures development is well planned and appropriately funded across the western growth areas, and that opportunities for further community benefit, such as integrated water management and liveability collaboration are identified.
The role plays a pivotal part in ensuring enquiries and applications from the land development industry are responded to efficiently and effectively. With a customer-first approach, the role ensures applications and developments are consistent with City West Water’s safety, asset management, financial and regulatory requirements.
As part of the Urban Development Leadership Team, the position supports the Urban Development Manager to drive a culture that places customers first, focuses on high performance develops our people, and is a leader across the Group as we transform City West Water’s services from asset centric to customer centric.

The focus of the role is on team leadership and development. We are seeking a passionate people leader. You will be supported with technical expertise from within the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, driven and proven performer.
Whilst not essential, experience in the development and use of performance indicators for reporting and monitoring the business groups efficiency and effectiveness together with knowledge of City West Water’s Land Development Quality Assurance System would be highly advantageous.
