Our clients utilise more than 300 specialist geoscience professionals, including engineers, geologists, geophysicists and hydrogeologists who provide comprehensive investigation and design services, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects. We also work closely with our international teams to deliver best for project geotechnical solutions.
We have several exciting opportunities for Geotechnical Engineers in our Melbourne office. In these roles, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of projects, including exciting major projects in Victoria within a diverse and incredibly passionate geotechnical team.

Working with the Team Leader - Geotechnical Engineering, these challenging positions have great variety and will see you involved in:
  • Working with a wide range of experienced geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, geophysicists, hydrogeologists and geotechnicians
  • Contributing to the delivery of projects, ensuring work outputs are of a high technical standard
  • Undertaking fieldwork activities commensurate with your experience level
  • Undertaking geotechnical analyses in areas such as deep excavations, slope stability, foundations, retaining walls, pavement designs etc.
  • Undertake interpretation and analysis of data to develop and implement practical and commercial solutions

What would you bring to the team?
Geotechnical Engineer
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications together with consulting experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Analytical skills with experience with geotechnical software packages preferred (PLAXIS 2D/3D, SLOPE/W, LPILE etc.)
  • Ability to write clear and concise geotechnical factual and interpretive reports
  • Highly developed interpersonal and report writing skills

Senior Geotechnical Engineer
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications together with a minimum 5 years' consulting experience
  • Strong geotechnical analysis and design experience, including sound skills with geotechnical software packages (PLAXIS 2D/3D, SLOPE/W, LPILE etc.)
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to write clear and concise geotechnical factual and interpretive reports
  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and report writing skills
  • Ability or interest to coach and mentor other engineers
