As a result of exciting and continued growth, we are looking for a Flood Engineer (with approximately 2 - 5 years of experience) to join our Flooding team. The role will expose the successful candidate to a great variety of projects including infrastructure (road, rail, etc), master planning / site development, major bridges as well as environmental and LGA-related projects. Our pipeline of work will also connect you into a network of interstate and international projects, leveraging Arup’s truly global business model and philosophy.
Flood modelling (1D, 2D, combined 1D/2D)
Experience in packages such as TUFLOW, HECRAS, MIKE, etc.
Hydrologic analysis (e.g. RAFTS, URBS, RORB, WBNM, etc)
Awareness of AR&R16 processes
An ability to work on multidisciplinary projects
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
With recognised relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant skills, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in flood-related analysis and design.
You will possess good attention to detail and you will have proven working knowledge of relevant guidelines within the areas of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
