This position will support our customers, creating the best possible customer experience through technical support, installation, operator training and repair of Automation equipment. It will support our growing base of Automation platforms across Australia and our drive into relevant testing markets. Ideal for a fast learner with advanced electro-mechanical skills and anyone with an interest in automation. o Provide installation and onsite scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs of Thermo Fisher's laboratory automation platforms across ANZ as required. Provide ongoing customer training and technical support both in person and remotely o Contribute to operational and strategic business plans by advising on contract requirements, installations and overseeing equipment commissioning and maintenance schedules o Proactively resolve field issues via internal escalation process, liaising with APJ and Global Service Specialists o Work with Service Operations staff to effectively manage field service activities and complete administration requirements to support the business. Perform to designated goals of customer call back, on-site response, time to resolution and customer expectations o Perform Work in accordance with all relevant certification procedures and regulatory requirements such as NATA, ISO, Electrical Safety and EH&S. o Be available to assist with after-hours work, shift work, on-call weekends if required o Actively seek out new opportunities to grow service and sales revenue to meet and exceeded regional budgets. o Work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure that customer needs are met, and Company products are positioned correctly and effectively supported in the market o Any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by senior management
