The Australian Government is laying the foundations for a nationwide naval shipbuilding enterprise to support the implementation of the Naval Shipbuilding Plan. Submarines are a unique Defence capability and play an essential role in supporting Australia’s maritime security, and your work within the program by engaging with Navy and industry suppliers, will ensure that Navy has an enduring and potent submarine capability for generations to come.
What we are looking for:
As a Mechanical Engineer on the Collins Sonar Capability Program you will perform an important role in upgrading the sonar systems and interfacing with the submarine. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with sufficient relevant experience in a similar role. You will work in a dynamic and diverse environment requiring a number of key skills to undertake the following tasks:
