The Role
Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch is seeking professional, motivated and experienced EL1 Engineering Managers to provide support to various maritime projects and products. The successful candidates will be expected to develop engineering documentation, review engineering design, deliver engineering specifications on behalf CoA, and perform a broad range of engineering management activities at a high standard to support the Executive Director Technology, Engineering and Logistics as well as MIWS Project Directors and Managers.

These positions will work in an integrated workforce to deliver Subject Matter Expertise to projects and products across the Branch. The roles will involve considerable stakeholder engagement across complex environments and have responsibility for the management of engineering teams. These roles will operate within a fast paced and dynamic working environment, requiring the incumbents to be flexible and willing to help other work areas to meet the deliverables of projects, products, and MIWS Branch more broadly.

These positions will be located in ACT and SA. While some of the positions are flexible in terms of work location, certain specific roles will be required to be performed in ACT or SA respectively.
