About the program
Airbus Australia Pacific is now accepting applications from creative and team oriented Engineers to join our Graduate Program in 2021.
As a Graduate Engineer working at Airbus Australia Pacific, you will utilise your training and experience to help deliver Engineering solutions predominantly for our Military Helicopters – the Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) and the Multi-Role Helicopter (MRH90). This is ranging from design work to in-service support, and will give you the opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of interesting tasks and challenging projects, working within a variety of our engineering teams.
As one of our graduate Engineers, you will be offered professional growth through a structured program where you will complete 3 - 4 rotations through different business units (a minimum of 6 months per rotation) across a two year timeframe. Working alongside our Senior Engineers, Team Leads and Subject Matter Experts, you can gain exposure to different areas of the business and different phases of projects and will be able to develop a depth of knowledge in your chosen discipline. This provides a unique on-the-job training experience.
During the graduate program, you can also utilise our internal mentoring scheme and attend courses tailored to help you grow in both technical and soft skills both in person and online. You will also have the opportunity to spend a week in our Deeper Maintenance team as part of your rotation

To be a successful Graduate Engineer you will need to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously, sometimes to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
