The Australian Government is laying the foundations for a nationwide naval shipbuilding enterprise to support the implementation of the Naval Shipbuilding Plan. The Plan outlines the Australian Government’s vision for the Australian Naval Shipbuilding Enterprise and the significant investment required in coming decades. Modernisation of our naval forces is a complex, national endeavour aimed at building and sustaining Australia’s naval capabilities. It will create economic growth through Australian industry involvement and in securing Australian jobs for future generations through a continuous naval shipbuilding industry.

The occupant will be a member of the Submarine Escape and Rescue Systems – Sustainment team. The occupant will manage, assess and coordinate strategies and plans, enabling delivery and reporting on the requirements and expectations of the sustainment (use-in-service) of Submarine Abandonment, Escape and Rescue Systems. This role will include but not limited to the following tasks, as required:
