The Chief Systems Engineering Branch within the Capability and Sustainment Group (CASG) is an integrated team comprising of Australian Public Service (APS), Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Contractor personnel. The Branch is looking to fill several Engineering vacancies at the APS6 level to continue the development and implementation of the Engineering and Technical (E&T) function across the Group as the organisation continues to mature the Balanced Matrix philosophy. Under the CASG Balanced Matrix model, the Branch supports the E&T workforce in Systems Program Offices (SPOs) and business units to deliver capability to the ADF.
The vacancies are across various E&T work programs including standardisation of E&T policies and processes, assurance and compliance activities associated with these standard processes and reporting outcomes. Your interpersonal skills will have you establish and foster the many working relationships you will have across the organisation and with key external stakeholders. The positions are a great opportunity for an engineer to assist shaping the future of the E&T function in supporting its members. You are a professional engineer with a sound understanding of the role the Engineering and Technical function plays in delivering acquisition and sustainment outcomes. You are a flexible team member and like to work collaboratively in a customer focused environment to achieve outcomes.
