Our Integrated Support Solutions business combines project management, asset management, engineering and integrated logistics support to deliver holistic solutions for systems and capabilities across Aerospace and Defence. 

The role

This position will be part of a new KEY Team Major Service Provider (MSP) package of work within ISREW-Joint/Air SPO, supporting the Joint & Air SPO Sustainment Management Unit (J&ASPO SMU) Program. 

This is a key position which is critical to providing support to the Air & Joint SPO Sustainment Management Unit.

You will need to use your technical expertise as you will make decisions and recommendations that are recognised as authoritative and impact on extensive engineering and related activities of this Unit.

Excellent technical knowledge coupled with strong communication skills are required as you will negotiate key and critical issues with top level engineers and officers of other organisations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering requirements across the Defence capability life cycle (CLC) process
  • Minimum 8 years experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering  (other engineering discipline will be considered)
  • Strong Defence engineering experience and knowledge
  • Demonstrated / proven organisational and analytical skills
  • Experience within CASG projects and knowledge of the CASG systems and processes is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships through high level communication skills

Mandatory

Applicant must hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance at NV1 level
