A long-term temporary opportunity is now available for an Engineer (Civil) with experience in road infrastructure projects to join the South Coast Region team and contribute to a variety of preservation and maintenance road infrastructure projects. In the role of Engineer (Civil), with supervision and guidance from senior engineering staff, you will project manage the delivery of small road infrastructure projects through the administration of contracts and provision of technical expertise and support to the design, construction and maintenance processes.   

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:

  • Experience in a similar role, project managing road infrastructure projects.
  • Technical knowledge and ability to provide support and advice in the planning and design process, engineering requirements and resources required for road infrastructure projects. 
  • Well-developed organisational, project management and contract management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and foster strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Well-developed research and analytical skills, with the ability to provide engineering advice and solutions. 
  • High level of interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with confidence and professionalism to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
