The Opportunity

Due to growth, we are looking to hire an experienced Project Engineer to join our Orange site office. The individual will play a key role in the Resources Central business in regional NSW and have oversight of the new mining expansion project. 

What you’ll do:

  • Demonstrate positive safety leadership behaviours and initiate visual felt safety leadership
  • Review health and safety performance weekly with the Construction Manager
  • Contract Management for Construction package/s
  • Assessing Contractor variation claims and EoT's
  • Coordinating ESP with regards to RFI's, ITP's and NCR
  • Approve Contractors and Suppliers quality documentation.
  • Ensuring project schedule is current, providing updates to the Project Scheduler and seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop Area forecast to complete with Project Controls manager on a monthly basis.
  • Expedite the supply of free issued equipment and materials and handover to Construction Contractors.
  • Review tender submissions for constructability and capability.

What we’ll love about you: 

  • A relevant Electrical engineering related tertiary qualification
  • Demonstrate successful project engineering experience in delivering large work packages on significant projects mining or heavy industrial sectors
  • Minimum 3 years+ industry experience
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets, systems and stakeholders to achieve an exceptional outcome
