About the role
UGL Utilities team are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer based across multiple projects in QLD. This position will be based in our head office in Brisbane and involves regular visits to site.
Working with guidance from the Project Manager, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for the production of design deliverables under direction from senior engineering staff. Their activities will involve coordinating design effort with other engineering disciplines and managing their required design outputs in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, integration & coordination, installation & commissioning of electrical systems and services required for the project
• Coordination & integration of the design with other engineering design disciplines & services
• Development / production of inspection & test and operating & maintenance manual documentation.
• Directing drafting personnel for the production of design & installation drawings
• Development / production of inspection & test and operating & maintenance manual documentation.
• Provides written reports on engineering activities as required by the Project Manager

About You
• Electrical Engineering Qualification
• Significant engineering experience throughout, design, construction and commissioning on Brownfields and Greenfields projects.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
• Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
