Due to the continuous success of our Australian Power Business, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our renowned NSW Power team in the Sydney office. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and high-performing team of Power engineering professionals to undertake traction power system modelling and analysis, producing analysis reports for both DC & AC networks.

The Opportunity 

To work with Rail clients to plan, detail requirements and model to enable them to strategically invest for future rail assets and to enable them to deliver best for value outcomes.
Work alongside industry recognised leader in the field.
To work on complex jobs assisting clients throughout entire asset lifecycles.

What we'll love about you

  • Electrical engineer with experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Ideally, 2-4 years’ relevant experience.
  • Very good analytical skills and strong communication skills.
  • Power system modelling experience.
  • Experience/knowledge in the power system modelling of analysis.
  • Knowledge in engineering calculations associated with electrical design such as fault level, load flow, harmonic analysis, fault loop impedance, volts drop, cables and equipment sizing, rating and specification.
  • An understanding of power system analysis tools.
  • Knowledge in traction power systems and power system protection is advantage.
  • Traction power experience preferred but not necessary.
