We have an opportunity for a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our Melbourne Built Environment team and play a part in the technical delivery of Defence projects. This position is one based on the sustained growth of our business in Melbourne and will primarily work on projects in Defence's Estate Works Programme.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated relevant experience working within an engineering consultancy environment, preferably with a built environment focus
- Perform design calculations and develop electrical design documentation, such as single line diagrams, cable schedules, schematic and termination diagrams, datasheets, specifications, scopes of work and equipment lists
- Proficiency in the use of a range of electrical software packages, such as PowerCAD, etc.
- Undertake field inspections of existing site installations to inform the design process
- Ability to use your initiative, work independently and have a strong attention to detail
You will need a relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering. You must have or be capable of obtaining a Defence Baseline clearance.
