The Role
As Deputy Director - Engineering and Logistic Integration, you will be accountable for informing the delivery of multiple, highly complex capabilities, along with the overarching corporate responsibilities and opportunity to mentor a range of junior engineers working alongside this important role.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing engineering leadership, technical and capability risk advice and integration consideration of Land capabilities.
  • Possess a proven ability to lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team across all the concepts, capability definition and acquisition phases of the capability life cycle.
  • Build and sustain highly productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including senior level Capability Manager Representatives and Industry Partners, all of whom contribute to the successful delivery of Land capabilities.

The Directorate of Logistics Plans - Army is a small team of logisticians and engineers responsible for designing the Land Force Support System (LFSS). The LFSS is a system of system that delivers logistics, sustainment, combat services support, support engineering, catering and deployable health to Land Forces. The Directorate supports all Land Programs, including Special operations and Army Aviation across the capability life cycle through the provision of science and technology, integration, systems of systems engineering, logistics and safety advice. We develop requirements, translate the requirements to functional and performance specifications and contactable artefacts.
